Empowered Living

This powerful message calls us back to the foundational truth that love must be our primary motivation in everything we do as believers. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 12-14, we're reminded that spiritual gifts are not meant to be mysterious or controversial, but rather tools given by God to build up the church and minister to a hurting world. The tension Paul addresses in Corinthians mirrors our own struggle today: we need both the fruit of the Spirit and the power of the Spirit working together. Without love as our foundation, even the most spectacular spiritual gifts become nothing more than noise. This teaching challenges us to pursue God with renewed passion, to discover and develop our spiritual gifts, and to deploy them with maturity and genuine care for others. We're living in days when the enemy seeks to divide and distract, but God has equipped us with everything we need to be effective witnesses. The call is clear: don't be ignorant about spiritual gifts, don't apologize for what God's Word promises, and don't settle for powerless religion when empowered living is available. As we earnestly desire these gifts while pursuing love above all, we position ourselves to see the miraculous manifest in our midst.
