How it all started...
Overflow Worship Center previously know as West Vanceboro Church of God started out with a group of charter members who were given a vision for this church to be a light in the community of Vanceboro and surrounding areas. First starting out as a home church, we quickly grew and built what is now our youth sanctuary. The original charter members were given a vision. A vision for people to come from the South, East, West, and North to this soul saving station.
Why the name change?
We are a vision led church. We believe in the biblical significance of name changes that happened throughout the Bible. Biblical name change marks new assignments. God has called us beyond our Vanceboro community to reach beyond just this area. We are seeing the vision of our original charter members coming to fruition, and in that God is calling us to step into this new stage of Overflow. Overflow is prophetic based off of Ezekiel 47. Overflow Worship Center will remain a part of the Church of God denomination.
