A Church with a Heart for Revival

What does it take for a church, a community, or even an individual heart to experience genuine revival? This message takes us deep into that question by anchoring us in Acts chapter 1, the often-overlooked chapter that set the stage for everything that followed in the early church. Before the fire fell, before the wind blew, before thousands were saved in a single day, there was a people on their knees. They were not passive. They were not distracted. They were postured, hungry, and contending together in prayer. The spiritual insight here is profound: revival is not something we attend, it is something we carry. And we can only carry what we have first cultivated. The message draws a vivid contrast between simply showing up to church and becoming a devoted disciple, between checking a box and genuinely positioning ourselves before God. It challenges us to examine whether there is fresh power in our lives, boldness in our witness, and real conviction in our hearts. If any of those flames have grown dim, the invitation is clear: return to the posture of Acts 1, humble ourselves, cultivate hunger, and seek the Lord together. Revival begins not around us but in us, and that journey starts the moment we decide to get in position.
