The Hour is Come
As we celebrate Palm Sunday, we're invited to reflect on a pivotal moment in history - the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. This event, described in John 12, marks the beginning of Holy Week and sets the stage for Christ's ultimate sacrifice. The passage reminds us that what appeared to be a moment of victory for the crowds was, in fact, the prelude to Jesus' darkest hour. Yet, in this hour, we find the heart of our salvation. Christ speaks of a grain of wheat that must die to produce much fruit - a powerful metaphor for His own death and resurrection, as well as for our spiritual journey. We're challenged to 'lose our lives' in this world to gain eternal life, embracing a heavenly perspective that values God's kingdom above earthly pursuits. This message urges us to examine our hearts: Are we truly living for Christ, or are we clinging to worldly desires? As we wave our spiritual palm branches, let's commit to following Jesus wholeheartedly, recognizing the profound cost of our salvation and the glorious hope it brings.
